Here is a collection of videos that you might see at a JoG:
-
Aside from a short sermon from Tim Keller, there is no teaching. There is facilitated discussion after watching a video, studying 2 Corinthians 9, or reading an excerpt from Richard Foster.
-
Absolutley! Anyone who has already experienced a JoG and who has been trained to be a facilitator can lead a JoG.
-
There is a two-hour online training, or Brad Jenkins of Soma Churches can train you in person or through Zoom.
-
Generous Giving provides resources to help you think through the entire JoG experience, from choosing a date, finding a location, and inviting and registering guests.
-
There is no catch or fundraising involved. A JoG is intentionally neutral. The JoG is designed to be a transformational experience for a small group (10–16 people) that focuses on the heart of generosity.
