Area Leaders collaborate with the churches in their region to provide leadership toward our vision of gospel saturation. Areas work together to strengthen one another through retreats, Soma School, and shared learning as well as plant new churches through Soma Sending regional residencies.
Chuck is an elder and led the church planting residency that helped birth The Crossing Church in Paragould, Arkansas back in 2012. Chuck and Lindy have 3 children. When he’s not practicing law in Jonesboro, Chuck loves to coach church planters and pastors drawing from his years of pastoral experience.
Chris Bennett has been the lead pastor at Renewal Church since 2007. Located in Memphis, TN. Several of the elders at Renewal Church were introduced to SOMA in 2009 and since this time, the brotherhood and shared methodologies in mission and message became quite apparent that our effectiveness for kingdom advancement was better together.
Brad serves as an equipping elder of Soma Culver City in Los Angeles, California, where he lives with his wife and their three children. Brad is also the Director of Content for Saturate. Globally, he has the privilege of coaching and resourcing church leaders on how to form gospel-centered communities that love God and serve their city.
Soma Pacific Northwest
Jeff is the founder of Soma and the lead teaching pastor at Doxa Church in Bellevue, WA. Jeff is on the leadership team of Saturate the Sound, a local church collective focused on gospel saturation in the Puget Sound. Jeff has authored Saturate, Gospel Fluency, and Making Space. He and Jayne, his wife, have three children; Haylee, Caleb, and Maggie.
Duke serves a dual role as the Executive Director of both Soma and Saturate. He gives directional leadership and oversees development and implementation of Soma’s key initiatives and walks with leaders and churches as they pursue greater strength, long-term health, and effectiveness in ministry. Duke lives in Fort Worth, TX with his wife Caroline and his three daughters: Lily, Evangeline, and Isla.
Mike has been involved with Soma since 2006. Domnica and Mike planted and multiplied house churches in Romania along with adopting their two children while living there as missionaries from 2005-2011. He worked in a mega-church as the Discipleship / MC pastor upon returning to Detroit and in 2016 planted Soma Detroit. Mike is bi-vocational and loving it, running a construction management business with his wife while leading Soma Detroit.
Aaron Goodrich is a pastor and visionary leader of Soma Grand Rapids. He is bi-vocational as a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a passion to work with leaders to help them stay emotionally and spiritually healthy. He lives in Grand Rapids Mi with his wife Glori and they have three children, Caiden, Jackson and Porter.
